Companion Planting Chart

Two-sided printable chart that lists which vegetables, herbs and flowers are compatible or incompatible when planted next to each other in a garden. Compatible plants are beneficial companions that either work in harmony and enhance each other, or they do not harm each others growth. One plant may require an element that the other releases; or one plant may provide shade for another that requires shade; or one may repel a certain pest that would otherwise be attracted to it’s companion. Incompatible plants are those that thrive best when not growing right next to each other. These plants may require large amounts of the same resources, or exude an element which is toxic to some plant. The reasons and explanations are not listed, this is simply an extensive list than can be printed and laminated and hung in a garden shed for quick reference during planting season. The information has been gleaned from many published books and gardening supply sources.
