A Master's Thesis studying the efficacy of DPNS. Unfortunately it appears that the SLP who did this study was not certified in the procedure. In other words, she was practicing a medical procedure with NO training on live human subjects. This may fall within the realm of malpractice. This study utilizes only six treatments of DPNS versus Thermal Gustatory Stimulation. The minimum recommended amount of treatments is between 10-20 for full efficacy.
