The history of the Korean Catholic Church is alive and well at Seoul’s Catholic pilgrimage routes, where anyone, not just the religious, can learn about the city’s past and its many stories. Split into three courses, the pilgrimage routes include the execution grounds where Korea’s early believers were interrogated and tortured, as well as old seminaries and cathedrals where visitors may learn about the history of Catholicism’s development in Korea.
