A new ligand (L3) 1,3-bis(2-(2-hydroxyphenylaminomethyl)phenoxymethyl)-2,4,6-tri-methylbenzene is synthesized. The generic synthetic pathways for the new starting materials (L1) and (L2) were presented. The structural features of the all the new compounds are studied by FT-IR (mid), 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Structural comparison between (L1) (L2) and (L3) were also reported
